Description
The Maxxis Assegai tire is named after the iron-tipped spear used by the Zulu people of South Africa. Greg Minnaar, a three-time World Downhill Champion and South African native, thought it was an appropriate name for a tire ready to do battle on the mountain. The high caps attack dust and dirt to find traction, but also offer support and safety on wet roots and rocks.
