The Scott Addict 10 is among our most popular road bikes because of its incredible versatility. It combines the typical lightness of a race bike with a design designed to best balance performance, comfort and cost, especially over long distances. The result is a bike that can be considered the ideal companion for those who love the road without compromise. Underlying its personality is a less extreme geometry than classic race bikes: more open and less compact, it allows a more natural riding position thanks to a higher stack and smaller reach. The HMX carbon frame has also been optimized to offer greater elasticity so it can absorb vibrations, small bumps and the bumpiest stretches of asphalt.
This does not mean that the Addict 10 gives up its sporty character. It can keep high pace at the front of the pack, tackles climbs with ease and provides safety and speed even on descents. At the same time, it proves perfect for quiet, relaxed rides with friends, adapting smoothly to all kinds of outings. It doesn’t stop at the usual routes either: with a tire clearance of up to 38 mm, it is ready to tackle even mixed-surface roads, standing out from many “all-road” bikes.
The Addict 10 goes with you wherever you want to go, for as long as you want. And when distances get longer, the handy Save-The-Day kit built into the frame, which includes an inner tube, tire lever and mini pump, comes into play. The set-up is complemented by the SRAM Force AXS 2× wireless groupset and the fast and stable Fulcrum Wind 42 Disc wheels, paired with Schwalbe ONE tires-a combination designed to grind out miles at any gait.
