A passion for the bicycle and cycling, combined with the attachment and knowledge of our territories, prompted us to found a “service” activity linked to the world of “bicycle tourism”.
The primary objective is to make our guests experience high quality levels, combining the pleasure of pedaling together with the riches and unique values of our lands: nature and landscape, food and wine, historical heritage – cultural, museums, fairs and events, relaxation and well-being, becoming a reference where you can find competence, professionalism, passion and courtesy to make unforgettable trips and holidays by bicycle.
MISSION
2020
On a warm summer evening, four friends sitting on the Po river banks chat about the next bicycle trip. Slowly, jovially, accompanied by charcuterie a bottle of good wine, the idea of creating a “project” linked to the cycle travel and vacations, with high quality services and locations, takes shape. What was a common routine for us, we turned it into a travel experience for everyone.
With the arrival of 2020, we therefore decided to “get on the saddle” and move from the idea to the project, embarking on this new adventure. Strengthened by the past experiences and beauty of our Italy, for the year 2020, we decided to organize two cycling trips / holidays in our country. Italy is known all over the world as a bicycle paradise both by the most demanding cyclists, hunting for challenges on climbs or legendary routes, and by less frequent cyclists. The variety of landscapes, the natural beauty of the area, culture, history, gastronomy and its long cycling tradition make the Italian territory a world unique destination for two-wheel lovers.
With exclusive travel / holiday packages, including every service, we will take you to pedal in our country, letting you live unforgettable experiences linked to two wonderful territories:
EMILIA
Emilia is a territory that expands in the vast Po Valley. it ranges from the flat plain on the banks of the Po river to heights of over 2000 meters in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines National Park, a vast area of protection (UNESCO MAB), dominated by the mountain of which Dante wrote in the Divine Comedy, the Pietra di Bismantova. Emilia has a variety of landscapes and a truly natural wealth with few equals.
It is the home of “how to live”, first and foremost for gastronomy, with unique dishes such as the first homemade cheeses (anolini, tortelli, lasagne, gnocchi, etc. ..) cured meats, (salami, mortadella, Parma ham, Culatello di Zibello), and Parmigiano Reggiano the king of cheeses, which make this land perhaps the main place in the world for culinary art and typical products. If we combine these with Balsamic vinegar and Lambrusco wine, this area is unrivaled worldwide for the quality of food and well-being at the table.
It is also the home of automobile history; Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Pagani, make it all something inimitable. If we then add the music with the great masters, Verdi, Toscanini, Pavarotti, literature with Guareschi and the “Peppone and Don Camillo” movie series.
How can you think not to visit and experience Emilia?
To think that today, for many it’s still an unknown and unfrequented territory. We will be riding at your side and guide you to discover the secrets and excellences of this land, where we were born and raised, sure to make you live an unforgettable experience.

Tuscany - Val d'Orcia
Tuscany “is a magical landscape where everything is kind around, everything is old and new”. It’s the cradle of the Italian language, Middle Ages and Italian Renaissance great masterpieces and artists. In the heart of Tuscany there is a magical territory that is even called the world’s eighth wonder.
Val d’Orcia is a land of rare beauty, where history, nature and tradition intertwine: beautiful medieval villages, abbeys and castles immersed in a unique landscape of rolling hills where cultivated fields, cypresses, vineyards and olive groves alternate. This magnificent region located in the southern part of Tuscany extends between the provinces of Siena (north) and Grosseto (south-west), where Monte Amiata, the highest extinct volcano in Italy, watches over the landscape.
Today, the valley is a protected natural and cultural park which, since 2004, has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. The absolute protagonist of the Val d’Orcia is its nature of rare beauty, which shows off a riot of different colors according to the various seasons, and especially so at the beginning of autumn.
The Valley is also a paradise of thermal sites and a treasure trove of high quality food and wine products known all over the world.
The great red wines (Brunello di Montalcino, above all), but also cured meats, cheeses, extra virgin olive oil, mushrooms, chestnuts, truffles, the finest cattle breeds meats and many other specialties.
We will take you through the wonderful “Val d’Orcia history” in a week, let you discover all the beauties of this land by bicycle.
With different levels and types of cycling routes, we will merge with the nature of the area to savor its history, culture, gastronomy, peacefulness and well-being.

About
Fabio Gilioli. 40 years old.
30 years spent on the bike.
10 years as a professional cyclist.
600.000km riding the bike.
10 years as a professional guide.
I was able to train and compete almost all over the world but most of these kilometers I riding in Emilia and Tuscany being able to discover and map every road and every mountain.
I was born in Emilia, on the plain and since I was a child the desire to discover new places led me to the mountains, I climbed all of them, everywhere and still today the desire is to see and discover new roads by bicycle.
My job as well as managing Sessantallora Store (multifunctional cycling center) is to accompany people on bikes, in training, competitions and travel, wherever there is the desire to share the passion for cycling, for food and for a good glass of wine.
Romano Brizzi. I am 45 years old and live in Parma, where I was born and raised. My roots are half connected to the Po valley and half to the mountain and the Apennines.
I think I covered every meter of road that runs through my land by bicycle, appreciating its colors, the scents that come out of the taverns, the sweat of heat and fatigue, the chills of the cold, always bringing with me the desire to know and discover new places and new stories. I love all those sensations that the bicycle allows me to experience: amazement, photography, stories of people and places, company, friendship, a sense of freedom and adventure, stops in bars, effort.
Matteo Malagoli. I am 47 years old and live in Medolla, a town in the area north of Modena. I am a computer engineer and after 18 years in the biomedical industry to create life-saving products I decided to take an opportunity and give a change to my life: together with my friends, create a reality that combines one of my great passions, cycling, and nature, the beauty of pedaling in a good company, doing sports and enjoying what is beautiful in our country.
Giulio Petrucci. Born in Rome in 1981, after classical and economic studies, I approached the world of tourism in 2005 following in the family footsteps; in 2009 I obtained the Rome tourist guide license and in the following years I started a path of professional transformation alongside the work of tourist guide with that of incoming services manager, initially opening a cooperative company and subsequently, in 2017, becoming General Manager of Giva Tours SRL, with a management of 100,000 people per year.
I approached the cycling world for personal passion / curiosity in 2011, getting to know Fabio Gilioli for a biomechanical test; after a short time I joined the Sessantallora team.
