Being well equipped during races or simply on a hike is essential. Organization, preparation of which is also part of choosing the right clothing and accessories should not be underestimated: including shoes.
FEATURES:
- Infinity: represents the most optimized volume control in the forefoot area
- Volume Control: this is the independent adjustment on the instep and forefoot area
- Microtex upper: characterized by softness yet durability and is also durable for a comfortable fit
- Carbon fiber R1 outsole: optimized cleat positioning, high stiffness and light weight: thus, better power transfer
MICROTEX UPPER:
Microtex upper is soft, durable and ultimately stable for a comfortable fit. Combined with the most advanced adjustment capabilities, this shoe offers the precise, locked-in feel that runners seek.
SUPPORT AND COMFORT:
One piece of the upper wraps around the arch of the foot. It can be adjusted for a perfect fit and better plantar fascia support using the latest Li2 BOA® platform. The volume of the forefoot area is controlled through Infinito, a fit configuration feature. Infinito balances tension and further eliminates pressure hot spots through BOA® fabric lace guides. This fit system acts over a larger area of the upper, pulling the eyelets inward from all directions for an even more comfortable fit.
VOLUME CONTROL SYSTEM:
The volume control system allows differentiated fit adjustments for the instep and forefoot areas, whose shape and volume can vary widely among cyclists. It features the latest Li2 BOA® Fit System platform with a smaller dial diameter and a lower, more aerodynamic profile. This allows cyclists to precisely adjust the fit, ensuring maximum performance without compromising comfort.
CARBON R2 SOLE:
Vento Infinito Carbon 2 also features a completely new sole with an engineered carbon fiber layup. In fact, this saves weight and offers even more stiffness. With a stiffness index of 10, this sole is the stiffest in the Fizik range. A wide ventilation inlet and deep internal channeling, provide cooling airflow, thus aiding temperature regulation. The cleat placement is set back slightly from traditional settings. This is helpful in optimizing pedaling efficiency and reducing knee compression. Especially suitable for very aggressive aerodynamic forward positions.
